As part of the website, the client wanted an interactive interface with a world map that highlighted the locations of his distributors.

The initial thought was to highlight each location with a dot on the map, but proved not to be flexible as it might not help users locate a specific country easily. Keeping in mind textual representation will still be the best way to go and the client's desire for a graphical look and feel, the map was made drillable from continent to countries to companies.

The interesting part of this map was the dynamism of its interface. Powered by Flash, the client had the ability to add and edit the distributor locations. All changes were fed into an XML file that was read by the Flash interface, merging two different technologies seamlessly.
