A long while ago, I saw a plain blue canvas in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. At that time, I was flabbergasted that was considered art – after all, it was a canvas of flat blue. I started laughing and I could not stop for a long time. Today, a few years later, I am thinking differently. The painting made me laugh. It was probably the highlight of my visit to SFMOMA (probably not meant to be so, but something I remember my visit by). Is it art? I guess so, after all, it evoked something in me.
